Robert Styles

Having watched his puppeteer father from behind the scenes and constructed cardboard theatre designs as a schoolboy, Robert launched his career on the miniature stage performing Victorian melodrama at Pollock’s Toy Museum in London.

He studied acting at The Arts Educational School and his career spans regional, touring and West End theatre, including appearances on film and television.

An award-winning lyricist for his adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s ‘The Loved One’, Robert also freelances as a director of stage plays and musicals.

Robert has travelled widely performing traditional ‘Punch & Judy’, and provided puppetry sequences for stage and screen.
